The Independent Clash Client Guide (clashare.com) helps users choose clients, locate download sources, follow configuration tutorials, read technical documentation, and find answers to common questions.
The Independent Clash Client Guide curates and maintains this site's content and download backups. Mihomo and each graphical client continue to publish through their own project repositories, release pages, or app stores. This site does not provide nodes, subscriptions, accounts, traffic, or proxy services, nor is it the official organization behind Clash or any of these independent projects.
Sources and verification
Information about versions, maintenance status, and features is checked first against project repositories, GitHub Release pages, App Store listings, project documentation, and public README files. When a page includes a backup hosted by this site, it also lists the filename, system architecture, exact size, and SHA256; each download record includes its own verification date.
Project repositories and app stores are dynamic sources. When the verification date shown on a page is more than 30 days old, return to the corresponding release page to confirm the latest version, system requirements, and maintenance status.
Editorial principles
Tutorials are organized around user tasks. They state scope and prerequisites first, followed by steps, verification methods, and a rollback path. Content involving compatibility, security, or permissions distinguishes verified facts, editorial guidance, and risk notices.
Client comparisons focus on maintenance status, platform support, download sources, and workflow. Commercial relationships do not replace evidence-based judgment. Advertising and recommendations should appear in clearly identifiable placements, not in tutorial conclusions.
Updates and archiving
When a release, project discontinuation, download source, or system permission changes, the relevant page should receive a new verification date. Clients that have been archived or unmaintained for an extended period retain historical notes while directing users first to compare actively maintained alternatives.
Articles display publication and update dates separately. An update date is not changed merely to create an appearance of freshness when the sources have not been checked again.
Corrections and contact
If you find inconsistent information about a project version, download source, feature, license, or article text, record the page address, location of the issue, client and system versions, and a verifiable public source. Issues in the project itself should still be evaluated through the project's repository Issue tracker and release notes.
