Install and make your first connection on macOS

Identify Apple Silicon or Intel first, then address system security prompts and network permissions.

01

Check the Mac chip

Open “About This Mac” and check the chip or processor. Choose Apple Silicon / arm64 for an Apple M-series chip, and Intel / x64 for an Intel processor.

02

Install and handle security prompts

Download the DMG, PKG, or ZIP from the listed source. After verifying the source, complete the installation. If the system blocks the app, open “System Settings > Privacy & Security” and look for the option to allow that specific app.

03

Import a configuration and grant permissions

Import your own configuration and select a node. Test the system proxy first. If TUN, a system extension, or VPN access is required, grant only the permissions described by the current client.
