Clash and most Clash-compatible clients only read configurations, create local proxy entry points, and route traffic by rules. They do not include nodes, subscriptions, or data allowances. After obtaining a lawful subscription, import it through the client's subscription interface, update it manually once, and then check the nodes and policy groups.
First confirm that the configuration or subscription was imported
A client still needs a configuration or subscription after installation. The node list, policy groups, and usage data all come from what you import.
Has the client imported a configuration file or subscription link?(See Subscription configuration guide)
After updating, can you see proxy nodes and policy groups?
Does the provider's subscription page list the expiration date, data allowance, and protocol types?
How to get started after receiving a subscription
- Obtain a lawful configuration or subscription from a trusted source
- Import the subscription link into the client instead of pasting it into a browser search box
- After importing, confirm that the node list, policy groups, and rules were generated
- If there are no nodes, ask the subscription or configuration provider to verify the link
